Bay Ridge Newborn Session
It has been 3 years since I began working with this lovely family. After having two boys, mama was so happy to bring her long awaited baby girl! Peri had the darkest thickest hair – very much unlike her brothers. I was excited to dress her up with some headbands and bonnets. Mom wanted to use vibrant colors which is typically not seen as often in my newborn sessions. It is nice to see color after shooting so much white and grey. We used pink and purple for her session. She was a relatively good baby sleeping throughout most of her session. The hardest part was getting the two brothers to hold their new sister for a sibling shot. This is not unusual. We were dealing with a sibling under two which is never easy. But after some trying and a few fast clicks of the shutter we captured one solid group shot. I was extremrly excited to try out my new wooden bucket which was just shipped from Russia.
