Brooklyn Baby Photographer
If we’re going to talk about favorite sessions than I must include this one onto the list. I met baby Hazel at her parents home in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn in mid January. From start to end she was a complete dream. Her mama had requested a fun and quirky setup and even mentioned they were huge Harry Potter fans. Well, I took that and ran away with it. I started the session with a few of my signature naked poses on a sage colored beanbag fabric. We then posed her in two neutral wooden setups; one of which was my favorite wooden bed and the other a mesh metal/wooden bowl. Right before parents shots I had to re-create the Harry Potter image I had envisioned prior to the session. I had planned to wrap her in the potato sack so I can also take a few non-HP shots as backup. Having already purchased a few goodies from an online vendor I had an owl stuffie and stripped Gryffindor scarf ready to go along with a wand from my personal collection. And finally, in post I was able to add a small lightening bolt to her forehead to complete my Harry Potter look (see grey image below). We completed the session with some family shots while Miss Hazel continued to sleep soundlessly.
