After taking all of December off to travel through Australia it was time to get back into the swing of things. I started January off with a maternity session for a lovely couple at their Brooklyn home. I had to initally reschedule the session due to a snowstorm which was a good decision since it snowed a dangerous amount. My client wanted a more traditional shoot using my beautiful gowns from AR Backdrops & Sew Trendy Accessories. Gabriella from Makeup by Gabriella styled her hair and applied a subtle but photo-ready amount of makeup. We started with some silk flying on a backlit scene and ended with a more dramatic lighting on my dark grey painted canvas. I think the maroon silk shot on the grey background was my favorite one from the whole session.
