Chelsea NYC Newborn Photographer
Today’s session was in the Chelsea section of NYC. Miss Kathryn started the session really strong with not a peek of the eyes. We were able to complete all the beanbag poses and even received a few smiles. But in the blink of an eye she was up and ready to party. Ironically, mom had requested awake shots which I explained are very rare and not my usual style since I am more posed than lifestyle. However, I do not like to waste precious time. If the baby is awake and content then I will wrap and do my best to get a few awake shots. Babies at this age do not have eye contact so it is a waiting game trying to capture the perfect shot. Kathryn did her best though and gave us some amazing faces. I was surprised and relieved I was able to get these shots I knew mom would hold dearly to her heart. After another feeding she was asleep and ready to complete her session.
