Forest Hills Newborn Photographer
I arrived to the Forest Hills, Queens apartment of who I thought was my client. It was a morning filled with the most terrencial rain I have ever seen. I am sure I could have rode a boat down the street quicker than my car. As we double parked in front of the building and started to unload the car I realized something seemed wrong. My client wasn’t answering her buzzer which I rang several times. I had recently texted with her so I knew she was home and waiting for me however she was not opening the door. After a few more texts I realized I was at her previous address and they had recently moved a few blocks away. Luckily it wasn’t a far drive but the rain was not making the move any easier with all the equipment. Finally after unloading for the second time, and handing my keys off to her husband to find me a spot I was ready to meet baby Amalia. She was an absolute dream and we were able to get so much from her in such a short amount of time. We started on the beanbag on a light grey palette. I really do love grey on girls. Next we posed her in the bucket next to the cutest dog I ever met, Buddy. Finishing up the props, I wrapped her in potato and used a medium grey palette on my little wooden bed. I completed the session in creams and whites while posing her with mom & dad for some family shots.
