Jersey City Newborn Photography
I first met this lovely family a few weeks earlier at his mama’s maternity session. Now I was back to their Jersey City apartment to photograph baby Gentian. We styled his session in all white and used no props. This was a not a typical session because we usually use at least one prop but I have to be honest I kind of loved it. This put up quite the challenge because they wanted an image with their dog and Gentian. So instead of placing baby in bucket as I normally would to obtain this shot, I placed him wrapped on a beanbag and had their pup sit next to him. I backlit the shot to give it a dreamier look. I think it turned out pretty magical!
