Luxury Newborn Photoshoot
Baby Mila gave us a bit of a challenge during her newborn session. She was not trying to sleep and not trying to miss the show. She was awake for almost two hours before I was able to take one picture. After loads of patience and feedings, we finally were able to get Mila to sleep. As soon as she closed her eyes I worked quickly through each setup. Since her parents purchased the largest package, I needed to get through many looks in the short amount of time I had to work with it. We started with wrapped shots which is how she fell asleep in the first place. We were able to get a prop shot with tulips to represent spring as well as all the family shots. I know her mama really wanted some naked poses but I had to let them know that once I unwrapped her, there was a good chance she would wake up and the session would be finished. Just in case I took enough pictures prior to unwrapping so I knew I would have enough to fulfill the gallery. Well lucky for us, Mila kept asleep a little while linger and I was able to get all the poses her mama wanted.
