Manhattan Midtown Studio Maternity
Zoe is one of those clients you immediately draw a connection to. Before she stepped foot into the NYC studio for her maternity session we chatted over email and phone. She told me of her past experience being paralyzed and how she overcame it and now this greatest obstacle of surviving birth and becoming a mother. She has an affinity for art and wanted me to use my creative freedom to create masterpieces for her. After talking with her I had a better vision of what I wanted to do for her session. For majority of the session we posed Zoe nude with only the use of silk. Towards the end we went a little more casual with a cropped black turtleneck and underwear. It was important to her to leave her tattoos and scars visible since they were part of her story and who she was. I couldn’t have been more proud of this shoot and making my ladies feel powerful, confident and beautiful!
