NYC Newborn Photographer

On a chilly Tuesday morning in April I arrived to a familiar NYC building in Chelsea. I had come to this building a few months earlier for a newborn session so I was already aware of the parking locations and where to unload. My assistant and I began to unload the car and grab a cart from the doorman. As we started to place the items onto the cart the doorman asked which apartment we were headed to. After giving him the information he informed me I was at the wrong location. My client happens to also have a residence in that particular building but does not currently live there. We quickly loaded the car back up and headed to Tribeca where I had just received the new apartment details from my client. Oh boy! After that minor mishap we finally met with baby Lucas and his family. His mom picked up a monkey outfit in lieu of “Year of the Monkey” which was extremely cute. If you know me, then you know I am not  big into crochet items or themed outfits but I do have a few soft spots for certain ones. This was an adorable mohair monkey outfit I couldn’t resist using. We stylized the rest of his session with grey and neutrals. Lucas slept his entire session and gave us an easy task of posing him.

Here’s a peek into his gallery:
