NJ Newborn Photographer
I always feel extremely grateful when I am referred by other clients but in this particular case I was referred by one of my former assistants Jacqueline. She understands my dedication and what goes into a session so when her friend found out she was pregnant I was the first person who came to mind. I spoke with Joanna a few months prior to her session and she expressed her love for girly accessories and the soft shades of purple and pink. I came prepared to accessorize in those colors and had my vision planned for the props. I arrived to Joanna’s NJ home to be welcomed by baby Ella. Her home put me right into the Fall mood with how lovely it was decorated. As we begin working on the beanbag with my series of naked poses, Ella had other plans for the session and wanted to do her own thing. Having experience in these circumstances you need to be able to move on and figure out the best course of action. Since it was a lot harder to get my usual beanbag poses we moved onto prop shots where Ella seemed much happier. We did 3 different prop shots as well as taking a few macro shots of her adorable small features. We ended on my dark grey backdrop for some parent shots. Sometimes you may have a plan in mind but that doesn’t mean its going to happen. Luckily, we were able to still capture beautiful pictures and make her parents extremely happy with their gallery. By looking at these pictures you would have no idea of what really happens behind the scenes.
