NYC Child photographer
I think I may have died from cuteness from this session. I met Liam’s mama back in my days of working in the fashion industry. So happy that years later I can still connect to former colleagues doing something that can bring them so much happiness. She missed out on taking newborn pictures so we wanted to make sure we made his one year milestone super special. I planned on a few adorable setups since she was opting out of a cake smash. Cake smashes have become the norm nowadays for a child turning one but in my opinion its not always necessary. They are cute and super fun but it’s also nice to just capture the baby being themselves. After getting through all the planned setups we tried for a naked bum shot. This is something I commonly do with younger babies as they are a lot less mobile but we were able to quickly shoot a few before he ran off in his birthday suit. I know his mom was extra excited for that shot =)
