NYC Indian Maternity Shoot
To pick a favorite from Angeline’s session would be next to impossible. I wanted to create images with an explosion of colors and culture. I asked her to bring in pieces from her wedding including wardrobe and jewelry. I enjoyed learning about how to put the jewelry on and the precise placement it goes on the body. It was very important to me that I did not offend or do anything in a distasteful manner. I would say we exceeded all of our expectations. I also wanted to continue the session with a few classic looks with a twist. I had recently purchased this new purple silk fabric and I wanted to try a few new tossing variations (see below). We had a lot of fun trying new methods out with updated lighting and backgrounds as well. We ended the session with some low-key lighting to capture some beautiful silhouettes. I felt like I was capturing Queen in front of my lens.
