NYC Maternity Photographer
I met Jessica and her husband at their UWS apartment in NYC. We were scheduled for an indoor maternity shoot in the evening. Since I bring my own lighting an props, I am pretty flexible with scheduling in home sessions. Jessica showed me a image taken of “Natalie Portman” by the amazing Annie Leibovitz as inspiration. I was able to rent a very similar backdrop that was painted on canvas from Oliphant studios in Brooklyn. I think we made a successful attempt at re-reating that high fashion editorial look. We were even able to incorporate their first fur baby into the session.
