Forest Hills Cake Smash
I was referred to Evita’s mom by my past assistant Jeke. Evita’s family were the sweetest people and made my job too easy. We planned a soft pink and cream pallete for Evita’s 1st birthday cake smash pictures. We shot the session in her Forest Hills home and were entertained by the music of Sesame Street. Evita was beyond smiles and so happy for her pictures. It’s wonderful when you have a one year session without tears or running off in every direction. They tend to be the most challenging sessions because most babies do not enjoy the cake and want to run away. This was definitely not the case for miss Evita. Even after taking a series of standard portraits she had a great time smashing her cake. She may not have actually eaten a bite of the cake but she destroyed it to pieces.
