Astoria Baby Photography
It was a cold and wet November day when I arrived to the Astoria, Queens home of baby Ava. Her mama had previously requested an image with their Eskimo dog as well as a holiday setup. I was really excited about styling both of those setups however I was most excited about trying out this super bold emerald colored blanket. I love jewel tones but my client base seems to be more muted and neutral. I was super happy when her mama agreed to use the blanket. I had purchased headbands months before from My Darling Emma and The Dainty Miss waiting for this moment to come. I posed her a few different ways on the bean bag and then proceeded to do 3 prop setups. I am not sure which setup I was most in love with. The emerald blanket worked so well with her skin tone however the neutral setup for the bucket shot is an all time favorite of mine from the entire year. Since I was going to be away the month of December on vacation in Australia I was happy to design a holiday setup as well. Thank you Ava for being a good sleepy baby and letting me dress you up for 4 hours!
