Downtown Brooklyn Cake Smash
My 3rd time seeing this wonderful family was a rainy morning at the end of January for Sadie’s cake smash. Driving down the cobblestone streets of downtown Brooklyn always makes me feel like I’m in Europe. We started the session on my wood backdrop and miss Sadie in a gold/cream romper followed by a peach lace romper on my white background. Sadie’s mom requested a floral pink and cream setup for the cake smash which she saw posted online. I am not a huge fan of following Pinterest looks but this was different. It was something I can totally get on board with and I was up to get creative. We worked with the designer to create this paper banner to complete the look. It came out fantastic! Sadie was adorable for her session and extremely cooperative. Ever since her challenging newborn session the prior year, my last two encounters with her has been very successful.
