Jersey City Newborn Photographer
It was a rainy windy morning when I arrived to the Jersey City home of baby Sophia. Prior to my arrival I was searching everywhere for white pumpkins as I had a vision for a setup I was planning for this session. Unfortunately, with no luck I was left to do the setup without the pumpkins which would be totally fine but I knew it would be the icing on the cake if I found them. As I opened the doors to meet the family two white pumpkins stared at me from across the room. Along with the two large pumpkins on the dining room table there were also small ones sitting in a bowl on the coffee table. Now this was fate! Along with my neutral Fall setup we also planned to use soft pink, lilac and creams for the rest of the session. Having a rough start getting baby Sophia to settle into beanbag poses we moved onto our two prop shots we had planned. She seemed to settle much better in the props and especially after we gave her the gas drops. We got through all the beanbag poses along with two props and parent shots. With a much calmer and sleepier baby we attempted the beanbag one more time which was much better than the first time. Overall you would never know we hit a few bumps in the road. Sophia looks like such a doll in her gallery.
