Rainbow Maternity Editorial NYC
A rainbow baby “is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillborn, or neonatal death,” Jennifer Kulp-Makarov, M.D., FACOG, explained to Parents.com. “It is called a rainbow baby because it is like a rainbow after a storm: something beautiful after something scary and dark.” I had the honor of photographing a past client of mine, Jacqueline for the October issue of Beauty & Lifestyle Magazine. The issue was focusing on rainbow moms and their stories. I knew I wanted to go big for this shoot so I had a custom headpiece created as well as purchasing this red gown and loads of fabric in the colors of the rainbow. My vision was brought to life and I couldn’t be more excited about the results.
