Staten Island Newborn Photographer
Every session is extremely important to me but this one happens to be extra special. This was no normal session. Typically I shoot newborns up until 14 days old. They are much more likely to sleep and easier to curl and pose into all those positions you see on my page. However with hearing of this little ones story that she was in the nicu and stayed in the hospital longer than expected I felt horrible turning my friend away. I had photographed her 1st child over 2 years ago and how would it be if we didn’t get to capture her newest addition. I arrived to my girlfriend’s house with a strict agenda to achieve certain poses and to get through as much as I could in the short sleep window I assumed I would have. I did stress that it would probably not be a typical session and we would see how she would do and get what we can get. With extreme attention to the prep guide that I sent and a strategic plan of my setups, she fooled us all and did better than some of my 10 day olds. With bean bag poses, sibling and prop shots I couldn’t believe my eyes and I was so happy I decided to take on this session. I even was able to snap a picture with her 2.5 year old brother who was the most well behaved little boy and showed so much love for his new sister. Miss Juliette was 27 days old for her newborn session sporting the best set of lashes any girl would dream to have.
